Yo! Shades of 'The Fast Show' and "Suits you, sir!" But, on a serious note, the slobbery of 'the customer' seems to have become a kind of universal standard of normal dress. My father was remarking today on the parade of the tattooed slappers at 'Royal' Ascot; the punch-up and some gal who wore a hat so monstrous that she had to take pain-killers to bear wearing it. What is happening? I just thank goodness that I do not live in Tunbridge Wells or I'd be having an apoplectic fit!
