At some high Anglican churches it used to be (and may still be) the custom to place the consecrated host directly in the worshipper's mouth. However, communion was always administered in both kinds--the host and the chalice.
Communion in one kind only was certainly the old RC practice. Some Anglicans do like the practice of intinction whereby they will leave the host on their crossed hands, the priest dips it in the chalice and then places it in the communicant's mouth. I don't know whether this is practiced in the RC Church or not. I think people who like intinction feel it's more sanitary.

Intinction ius also practised by the (some?) Orthodox and Uniate Churches.
The reservation of communion under both kinds for the clergy in the pre-VII Catholic Church knew two exceptions: The Kings of France and the Holy Roman Emperors at their coronation were allowed communion under both kinds.
Yes, that's what reminded me of Hinn and I knew that 1/2 second of google fu would deliver the goods.
A $ 45 million pound wedding and the dude can't spend 5 K on a decent morning suit or proper uniform ?
^Yeah, it's great to update/innovate but the tee-shirts and 'shades' are a totally rubbish choice with all the rest of it. Absolutely ABSURD!!! And the way in which the medals are worn is redolent of drooping body parts, as age bangs in.

Every time I see this thread I keep wondering if Prince Albert actually has a PA?
And I'm waiting for Tony to post a picture of a PA - perhaps his own.

I think it's heartening to see us back on topic again. I had almost written this thread off due to the god people.
