Pharmaceutical lndustry Not in Business of Health, Healing, Cures, Wellness:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AazObF_pHSU&feature=player_embedded

Remember guys, almost 600,000 patented medications (social control mechanisms) and more sick people in the modern world than ever before despite promises of cures being around the corner. Best to stop funding medical research because it's a waste of time because all it does is pay these people's wages and numerous perks and quirks.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFbs8s3VI6M&feature=relmfu

Lots of cases where the Pharmaceutical lndustry won't research health cures if it can't be patented. lt's all about making money, not curing anything.

Also basing a drugs success on falsified studies.

Shooman -

Your '...busting lots of organisations and liars in this world ...' consists of the delusional, manic rants, demi god status and generally paranoid posts that you create on an obscure fashion website ?

If I were some kind of PR / Security expert that was charged with discrediting the Anti Pharma / Sproutarian movement I would have never been able to come up with a planted troll / identity as good as yours.

It's pure fucking magic !

Re: The 'Just Because' Thread

Every night silent prayers are sent to the Big Gods of Pharma for more people like this who can easily be exposed and dismissed but at the same time derail the real discussions concerning the pros and cons of the pharmaceutical industry and the way we test and use drugs and medical treatment in general. There is no better way to keep people away from listening to the actual concerns than someone who babbles about Big Pharma, Big Dairy, Big Alkohol, Illuminati, Bilderberger, Jews and constantly suspended Apocalypse.
So, a short response from someone of the right side of the needle.
Yes, in all stages of research of a new drug a pharmaceutical company is financially involved. Why? Because they freaking have to do it by law! Do they make profit by it? Yes, but that is not unlawful nor immoral.
So are there problems? Yes, numerous. A short incomplete list: Cherry picking of studies, seeding trials, useless control groups or “looser”-controll group against “winner”-group with studied drug, publication bias, data massaging until something useful squirts out, cherry picking of outcomes, baselineadjustement… and these are just a handful of methods without any serious datamanipulation.
We are aware of these problems and they are battled on numerous fronts by scientists and the medical community in general; there is not a single case where a crazy guru covered up a big fraud like Viox or GSK, scientists did it.
For anybody who is really interested in these matters I recommend starting here:

http://www.badscience.net/category/big-pharma/

PS: I do not think that hijacking every thread for conspiracymongering is what FNB wants and it shows a certain kind of disrespect to him. Off topic themes seem to be a big part of this forum, at least since I am reading it, but when it starts to alternate between trolling and manic outbreaks everybody should think for himself where to draw the line.

Re: The 'Just Because' Thread

Dr. John Rengen Virapen worked 35 years for pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly & Co as an executive and exposes the follwing in this amazing link:

* pharmaceutical companies buy off (BRIBE) the governments and the media. Even Goerge Bush was on the board of Eli lilly.
* pharmaceutical companies promote drugs they know are dangerous because when the medicine makes you sick they can sell you more medication. Eg, Eli Lilly knew that Zyprexa caused diabetes, but they didn't say anything because they specialise in selling diabetes medication (not my words, they are the words of Dr Virapen)
* pharmaceutical companies hide the dangerous side effects of medications.
* most medical doctors don't know much about medicine (well duh) because they are educated by the pharmaceutical industry, many are bought off by the pharmaceutical industry, and sometimes have their Uni courses paid for by them too.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NuAQ-x2Ijc&feature=related

l've always been aware of this stuff, but it's good to get it straight from the horses mouth.

Late edit: Dr Virapen also said that most of the pharmaceutical drugs were rubbish. That probably explains why with almost 600,000 patented drugs there more sick people than ever, not only do many of them not help, they also make many people sicker.
