Mmmmm - Is he being re-branded?
Is this the start of his sophisticated statesman era?
No politics here, but the image guys do need to re-sell the man to us again at this point I feel. In fact the exercise is more than a little over-due.
'World Leader Style' could be better these days I've always felt. The guys need to look as though they know about what it is they're leading.
I'm looking forward to a mature, well-dressed, sophisticated President emerging here. One good enough to post on FNB...
Somebody should tell Nan that you only get one chance at your first facelift. W looks the best that I have seen him.
Barak Obama seems quite the natty dresser, though. Especially compared to the older politicos. Anybody agree?
Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Khurshid Mehmood Kasuri, has also been singled out as a stylish dresser with suits made from a Savile Row tailor. Which one he won't say, but he did say this: "Once I visited my rural constituency wearing the Pakistani national dress, the salwar-kameez. But the people there were disappointed; and when I asked them why, they said they wanted to see me in a suit."

Like Jackie Kennedy. She hid her cig habit for years. Claimed that's the way she stayed thin. And this was before the supermodel diet of cigarettes and champagne.
Okay, sorry to digress....
I wonder if that's a George de Paris suit on GW? One thing's for sure. Nasty Nancy is wearing the pants.

It actually looks like the president is dressing better these days. I would say the last 9 months he's picked it up some. But my general observation over the last two years is everyone on TV has tweaked their jacket and tie (or just jacket) ethos up a few notches. Suddenly Lou Dobbs is quite well dressed.
Something in the air?
Checked shirts are everywhere in Manhattan. Although a friend of mine at Bear bumped into a banker from like ING and not only was the the ING guy wearing like jeans and a polo shirt but he was chiding the Bear guy as he was remembering that Bear was one of the last shirt and tie required firms. Kinda interesting in a scary, why do I own so many suits and shirts sort of way.
