Although it’s a bit mannered, I respect Freud for being one of a very few to persevere with the cravat knot. He also looks like he had weird posture problems which would make him hard to tailor. In any case, if there is anyone who could justify looking like a dishevelled artist, it was probably him.
How many Rolexes must the Andyite own before he can be ushered through the revolving doors of the immaculate horological priesthood of sartorial excellence? What commences as an innocent post on a recommendation for a Rolex Submariner or Omega Seamaster quickly descends into an obscure battle on which make of watch gives the right impression in business and leisure and not to concealed proud posts on the vast numbers of Rolexes the Andyites own. What anyone would want with 10 Rolexes all purchased in the last ten years is quite beyond me. Still, as one poster says, 'When you buy a watch, always think what you will get for it in a combat zone when you need to get to the American embassy, or when you inevitable have to sell it second hand, because you've spent 100,000 grand on Rolexes and are living in your parents garage at age 45.'
