Mohair...itchy but stylish. My first bespoke suit was mohair, when you're nineteen it's got that nice, slightly lary look that sometimes appeals. Wouldn't wear it now, I don't think. Too old and besides, there is always a danger you end up looking like one of Frank Sinatra's 'associates'.
^ ... Actually... I think it was that cove who penned The Influential Factor now I come to think about it.
My apologies to the Neb Hewitt.
Edit: And Truval is 'Tru-Va'l in fact. My stuff is getting as sloppy as Hewitt's...

What about the Townshend story? Any news?
That all fizzled out. Never heard from him and the friend of a friend of a freind ultimately went quiet. Such is life -
Another entertaining 'Golden Age' thread. It will not be to everybody's taste, particularly if they love/loathe/are indifferent to both pop/rock music and jazz.
I still remember the night Jimbo rang me up, all excited, to tell me he was waiting to chat to PT.
After a while he twigged and said; 'You really don't give a fuck, do you?'
He was right. I didn't.
Jim always was a bit of a social climber and name dropper.
