Bespoke Suits in London < £600

Hi,
Previously, I have had 3 suits from Sartoriani. Love them or loath them, but I was lucky with Sartoriani and got my suits on time, and they are decent quality. 120 superfines. Now that Sartoriani is into liquidation, any suggestions on where I can get similar quality MTM/Bespoke in that price range. The off the pegs at M&S et al, dont really cut it anymore. I have seen a few advts for King & Allen, Raja etc. Any views on them.

I think there is a big gap in the market...

There is no such thing as a proper bespoke suit for under £600.

King & Allen thread on FNB - http://forums.filmnoirbuff.com/viewtopic.php?id=6094&p=1

I visited Raja Fashions with a friend. It was an appalling experience. They sell fused suits that are made in China. No thanks!

You can get a £700 M2M at Gieves and Hawkes outlet branches.

George of Cleveland St. London would have done you a suit at that price before he closed down.  He directed his old customers across the road to an outfit called Paul Kitsaros.  They look cheap but I don't know anything else about them.

This guy has already posted in AskAndy
My recommendation what to go to Stephan Shirts

Paul Kitsaros will charge about £1400 quid for bespoke and £800 for MTM.
I also told him you can't buy bespoke in London for less than £900

My recommendation was Stephan Shirts
http://www.bespokeme.com/article.aspx?id=307
http://www.bespokeme.com/article.aspx?id=308
http://www.bespokeme.com/article.aspx?id=320
http://www.bespokeme.com/article.aspx?id=322

Fully canvassed, horn buttons, all the bells and whistles, plus you get to deal with a bloke with a tailoring background.
And he is honest, i.e. he isn't trying to palm off MTM as bespoke.
I think they are cut and made up in the Czech Republic, but he probably does any alterations and tweeking himself

I have tried his shirts and no-one comes close.  Obviously suits are different, but if they put the same attention to detail into the suits as they do the shirts, I don't think you will have a problem.

Couple of exceptions that might be worth a punt

Lloyd Miller

George Threadneedleman

Won't be mind blowing but it WILL be better than anything Raja and King and Allen can offer you
