It seems very odd to harp on about the heritage and history of a brand that was founded in 1977. Henry Poole or Gieves & Hawks have history and heritage, whether one likes what is happening now or not. Drakes is much more a revival business, like Hackett, though none the worst for it, but this giving an impression that it has been around forever is false and a weird modern phenomenon.

It will be interesting to see how the new Drake's and Marinella shops compete.
