Europe bought a lot to the table, Hardy Aimes makes a bit of sense in ABC when he talks about American tailoring, conservative not wishing to stand out, Italian tailoring emphasis on the young man idea and fitted clothes. Sprinkle on that the fact British people needed anything to cheer them up with the combination of wet Sunday's and post war rationing, we have the three points of Ivy. I'm not sure where France fits in. Oh, the films. It all built up to the Modernist take on Ivy which was a global thing. Youthful, pop-Modernism with what I think was very little care to looking like you were just coming out of a Psychics lecture.
