Computer Crap

A question directed to the more knowledgeable users here.  For some reason I can't access Wiki.  I get an error message that tells me nothing.  The site is up, from the down site trackers I've accessed.  I use the most recent version of Firefox.  Any ideas or suggestions, other than getting off the internet and staying off.  Thanks.

I'm getting through ok from here.  I see you are even on wiki.

Try rebooting , always a first option. Then try updating FF, or installing another copy of it in a different directory. Or install Opera. Always good to have a few browsers. I have used Opera since it first come out. You are using windows? Try IE (spit) and see if it works.

Give your PC a good virus scan to check it's not borked. Empty the FF cache.

Have a little break, a coffee and a calming walk around. Let the computer have a little rest, always a good idea. If all this fails invent some post hoc intellectualization as to why you don't use wiki.

They've removed all the naughty pics on Wikipedia, so I no longer visit it.

It's a dangerous place, Wiki: sometimes it is excellent and, at other times, the old geezers in their dressing gowns spilled marmalade over their computer keys. It is difficult to know whether you are reading the truth or a flight of fancy.

Yes, yes I know all about the virtues and defects of Wiki:  I was just having a problem accessing it.
