It is easy, when bidding, to get carried away. Especially towards the end. It's something I very rarely do nowadays, having made several expensive mistakes over the years. The guy who bought my Walk Over told me the number of US-UK parcels is declining rapidly. I buy the odd thing if I'm sure of the postage cost up front; never under any other circumstances.

Not very interesting but there's some early '60s bespoke pair of strides listed, claimed to be tailormade for a JFK cabinet member or secretary or something like... look kinda dodgy to me.
