Thank you for your generous citation. And yes, I do acknowledge there may be significant differences in the Theory from an Australian structuralist perspective and the more, dare I say it, prosaic, North American view of yours.
I think you are advancing the theory here. Stockholm 2012 - lookout!
One small note, which I hesitate to mention, however it may be of some interest to you personally.
I do believe a Dr. Theodore John Kaczynski, trained at Harvard, late of Ask Andy About Trad Survivalist Attire, spent close to a decade on this exact problem both in academia and later in a small hut by himself in the wilderness.
Like yourself he was a very bright and singularly focussed individual and like yourself was fond of a unified theory of everything and also like yourself he rejected materialism and modern technology. I do also believe that like yourself he owned a genuine waxed Barbour and was casually indifferent to re waxing.
Unfortunately his focus on his work did take a toll on his social life and social standing and he was stifled by the powerful forces in society who wished to suppress his insights.
Just a gentle word of warning.
I hope this note finds you warm in your cabin.
Yours etc

Typical inanity from Simon Crompton - http://www.cityam.com/lifestyle/fashion/man-s-shoes-are-crucial-his-suit
"Many English brands make great shoes – Barker, Loake, Crockett & Jones, Church’s, Edward Green and John Lobb are among the most famous brands. Value for money extends to American brands, such as Alden and Allen Edmonds, but less so to Italian and French shoes where a large part of what you pay for is design."
It's difficult to know where to start.

http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?114147-Does-Alden-Want-to-Be-Out-of-the-Restoration-Business
iGents show their business acumen and the indomitable power of the human spirit in this heart-warming thread about Alden restoration, which costs $150 and takes two months. One iGent, fed up with the piratical practices of Big Shoe (in Alden's case literally big) wonders if he can send his Aldens to sleepy Midwestern footwear boutique Allen-Edmonds for restoration (he can't). iGents suggest that he instead go with the small-town charm and low prices of B. Nelson shoe repair of Manhattan, where a twinkle-eyed old elf will repair your worn-out #618s for only $120.
First of all, what are these people doing to their shoes that they need to restore them so often? Is it dog-walking again? Have their offices saved money on cleaning by replacing inefficient traditional flooring with handsome crushed Belgian block?
And second, this seems to reveal an excellent business opportunity for Alden. Alden should make restoration take much longer and cost, say, $275, but they should accept shoes from anywhere, and they should TRANSFORM THEM INTO ALDENS. Glue on some numinously beautiful cordovan, punch a few enormous grommet holes, and voila! You've got an Alden, the most famous and tasteful shoe that no normal person in America has ever heard of or wears!
Popeye, I am so sorry, it's calving season here so I haven't been able to get the Homeschool Calculator fired up to crank out an equation for pocket squares. My suspicion is that it's along the lines of Boyle's law (Susan or Robert, I don't think it makes much difference).
Gil -I think you misunderstand the USA iGentt. I do sympathize that you may lack time, due to home schooling, calving season, bottling time for home preserves, patching up the daub walls of the cabin and getting in wood for the winter.
Its simple.
The aaac gent is:
deeply committed to Made in USA
deeply committed to Union Made
deeply committed to keeping jobs in USA
deeply committed to not paying full price for anything
deeply committed to getting goods at Made in China unskilled prices without the good actually being touched by a stinky chineses person.
deeply committed to avoiding any good made by evil socialists
deeply committed to Made in USA matching Made in China prices whilst paying USA workers decent wages
deeply committed to suppliers accepting returns at any time for any reason and suppliers paying postage
deeply committed to general inanity

SF thread on height and weight.

All perfect specimens.
All SFs are from Lake Wobegon or a nearby town were everyone is even more above average.
