Marc, Thanks for the link. I've always loved Paris and Rome more than London and Milan(no derision).
To me, Rome has a warm, grand, rich, familial and yet sensual, character to it.
Someone(either Marc or sloaney) mentioned the great service they received from Mimmo Siviglia's, even to the point of introducin him to their favorite chef, etc. I wonder if a London or Milan customer would have been treated so graciously(though not all Roman stores are said to do that).
I just want to take a moment and that all of you guys for providing so much great information. I'm learning from the stuff with which I totally disagree, too, and I think that that's healthy. Helps to reinforce your own personal sense of style.
