lt's always easy to notice shell. Yes, l would like some Santoni's in shell, but l have never seen a pair in Oz made from it. l really like my Santoni's very much. Unfortunately l can't get them in Oz anymore, but luckily l have 12 pair...but l still wouldn't mind some more pairs if l ever was lucky enough to find some more. l still want a classy looking double monk and would have got an awesome pair last year, but the shop messed up and couldn't sell me them. Funny enough, l had a dream about highly antiqued double monks last night.
Truth be told, l would like another Vass budapester. They are a great shoo to wear and fit me even better since i've become very slim.

I had that same shoe in calf, and it was extremely nice. Santoni is very under-rated. Their Goodyear, Norvegese & Bentivegna models are as good as any RTW shoe out there. EG, Lobb, ANY ONE!

l would never buy Santoni online no matter how cheap they were (maybe a cheap Norvegese or bentivegna excepted) because they are an extremely hard shoo to fit well. Even trying Santoni on in the stores is a real challenge. l've tried dozens of different brands in shops but nothing is near as difficult to get right as Santoni Fatte a mano.
When l get home l am gonna put my Santoni FAM single monks on. Can't wait..they are fairdinkum rippers mate!

To my great regret I did not buy a pair of Santonis when I was in Italy last year. Still, any excuse to get back there!

l've just ordered myself the biggest of all the big boys. l've got me-self a real fairdinkum f-a-t bastard this time around. lt's a Vass burgundy shell cordovan budapester with 360 degree goiser stitching. l'm gonna break footpaths, i'm gonna smash floorboards and i'm gonna kick down doors until l can't kick `em any more. l'm gonna rock the foundations of the earth, and i'm gonna have a good time doin' it.
l was gonna be a dumb bastard and get a fat bugger in a natural shell colour, but that would have looked foul as fuck man. l came to my senses, avoided the dumb colours, avoided the F last and went with the biggest bastard of all...the BIG F-A-T Budapester.
