Nice! Patina has grown on me and I have a few pairs where it has happened naturally from wear and tear.

Most if not all of these seem to be examples of painting rather than patination.
If you aren't seeing through all three eyes at once day and night you are up shit creek without a paddle. The Shooman

Patina should be allowed to develop with age and use.
Most of those above whilst showcasing undoubted skill look kitsch to be honest.

They all look like they've been sprayed with bright metallic car paint, which of course they probably have.
I don't know, they don't look like the fine results of the rich patina that develops through environmental conditions and polishing over several years. There's no depth to those shoes, it's just a trick with Mr Sheen.
And for that reason, I'm out.
