Governments are just legalised servants for gangs. lt doesn't matter what party is in, there is still the same beople behind all the parties. The reason for having various parties is to trick the public into thinking there is a democracy, it is nothing more than a presented image. People who don't tow the line get taken out.
Wake up guys.
These governments can side track issues with wars with false enemies and all this other fabricated nonsense, but are they giving it's citizens more rights or taking them away?
Also; how many read the `Congressional Records' to see what's really going on? Forget the newspapers and television...that is only a device to sidetrack the public and take their eyes off some of the stuff that is really happening. Read the Congressional Records and get a glimpse into 5% of what is happening instead of learning only .00001% from the news.
Fox News rocks the solar system, Shooey. Even the little green men on Venus tune in.
No, no, you're quite right, I do have a soft brain. I thought I heard a subliminal message coming from one of my Chuck Berry CDs just the other day: urging me to Roll Over Beethoven or something. But Beethoven's dead, isn't he? How am I supposed to roll him over?
I'm always bemused by the left's relentless attacks on Fox News. The other channels are equally biased in their favour. The BBC's Obama worship (especially that odious creep Mark Mardell) is nauseating. He's even worse than the appalling Dubya Bush.
Presidents have been bought and paid for for a good while now. Meanwhile the banksters go about their business of enriching themselves and putting the rest of the country into the workhouse.
Same applies in the UK too.
Anyone interested should read the available literature on the Teamsters, Hoffa, Dorfman and co.

I simply couldn't stand the way people I know - who understand as much about the American political system as I do the rules of lacrosse - piled into him one after the other, like a herd of bleating sheep. Stupid sods who'd voted for Blair, the vacuous, grinning idiot, then turned on him over the disaster that turned out to be Iraq. I hated him even before 1997, having been a sound John Smith supporter.
Dubya was at least human; he talked like a human being; responded like one. Obama always sounds the same, whether he's talking about foreign policy or Michelle's choice of pizza toppings. Having said that, I have a good deal of sympathy for him. Ironic, though, that Americans should be taking to the streets during this particular presidency.
Andy, interesting that you should be writing this as, iirc, someone on the left. The knee-jerk anti-Dubya stuff always irked me too, especially the blind assumption that he was a bit thick. Leaving aside the Iraq elephant in the room for a moment he did a number of forward looking things - lots of money for Aids in Africa and laws to protect fisheries for example. His misfortune in Europe was to play up to the kind of American stereotypes that the media love to poke fun at: all that Texas ranch, cowboy booted, brush clearing etc.
Nixon did a lot of good things on the quiet, too: including a lot of positive discrimination funding. Reagan also put money into AIDS research, I believe, particularly after he knew his friend Rock Hudson was dying.
Dubya ran a huge budget deficit and greatly expanded the size of the federal government. He took the US into Iraq based on the obvious lie that Iraq was involved in 9/11 (it was the Saudis) and had weapons of mass destruction. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians died as a result of the invasion. That is not "human" to me. The disaster in Iraq was predicted by real conservatives like Ron Paul but I doubt that he will get the nomination.
There has been a highly complicated relationship between the US and the UK for many years now. Sometimes, we don't like them and they don't like us. Most of the time, though, we need one another. It was probably shrewd of Harold Wilson, though, to offer only moral support over Vietnam. Congress, in the end, didn't like the idea that Lyndon Johnson had managed to pull the wool over their eyes over Tonkin. Enoch Powell criticised our involvement in the first Gulf War and would likely have been dismayed by the invasion of Iraq. But, then, as we know, Enoch didn't always get it right, did he?
George Bush is at least as human as Lyndon Johnson was, maybe more so.
LBJ, LBJ, how many kids did you kill today?
But we're really talking about whether Obama will win again.
I'm guessing the GOP will finally offer up some charisma-free compromise candidate. Some dumber version of McCain, perhaps. I think it's going to be very, very interesting, in the way it plays out. Why do the Republicans appear so unattractive?
You certainly don't hear much about socialism on the mainstream left in England. Blair seemed to throttle that. A lot of hot air about caring capitalism instead. And far too much about bankers, bankers bonuses, bankers this and bankers that. We knew all along that they were people we'd generally take a long walk to avoid. Well, didn't we?
And when it comes time for Obama to piss off we'll get a new Presidential candidate who will say he'll bring all the troops home. As usually the gullable American public will believe it because he'll use words like "bringing our troops home" and "it's time for peace" and "it's time to move forward" and "it's time for a change" so they will vote him in. Then a month later the president will change his mind because the Du Pont family along with the Rockefallas and Rothschilds would have told their slaves to tell the slave president that if he doesn't tow the line and keep the war going he will be killed.
The public need to wake up for a change and learn how things really work.
btw: Obama has made sure the concentration camps are in place now. Some big shit is about to go down that is going to make Hitler look like a mere schoolboy. Obama has some nasty little tricks that he must play...having a black president is they key to the master plan. We are f*cked because we are too busy watching t.v and thinking about sport and earning money to see what is going on.
Why are us peasants (anyone who isn't a billionare) allowed to own cars? lt is because it makes it easier for us to earn money so we can pay taxes to the privately owned Federal Reserve. Ask the taxation department to show you the paper trial proving they bank the nations money in public owned banks...they won't be able to.
Read about the FEMA camps. When the government moves to ban guns you know your time is up, IT WILL HAPPEN!!!
