Possibly many of us will either curtail our buying on there or exclude them altogether.
I got quoted £56 to send a jacket to the states tracked and signed for today. So maybe they're not chancers, just covering themselves?
Any international package weighing over 4 pounds has to go International Priority according to new US Postal Service regulations (that went into effect after the Underwear Bomber). Priority International is expensive (about $40 to ship a suit in a heavier cloth), but Priority for one shirt is ridiculous. First Class is only marginally slower than Priority in terms of international transit times anyway.
I have a friend who sells vinyl on ebay, he told me that he has to send everything signed for because he and other sellers were getting a constant stream of 'customers' who were all claiming their goods had not arrived. The seller then ends up paying money to give away their stock.
Don't know if it is Kingstonian's preferred style, but it's a 46r. With a butterfly lining, it looks to be true vintage Brooks.

Caveat: No supplied measurements.

Another 46r. This time a Harris Tweed in green. Measurements need to be clarified..

Listed as a 40 L, a green weave Harris Tweed. The seller's measurement doesn't add up to a L. Price is a little high.

A 40 r Harris Tweed in a blue-green check has all sorts of nice details but a steep price.

^Correct. I am either a 42R, 42L, 43L or 44 depending on the jacket. Measurements cannot be trusted, it is impossible to eliminate the risk, that's why there's an element of trepidation and excitement when you open the package and see if it actually fits.
