Best shirtmakers ?

What are your favorite ones and why ?

Mine is H&K because

=
- the fabrics are good,
- the construction is well done,
- collars are GREAT because the the points never curve due to a plastic stick between the edge and the stiching,
- the choice is rather wide
- the prices are light during the sales
- nothing is fused

Sometimes you can stumble upon a shirt with problems of sizing but they will exchange it and send you a correct one.

I assume that Jermyn street is the best value for money all the more since i see the prices of some italian shirts like Kiton which are told to be good.

Mr. Grayson

Thank you for sharing your experience with you Maestro.  Must one go to Italy to visit him or does he come to the states?
My, Ernest, you are a plucky young fellow aren't you!

Re: Best shirtmakers ?

I recently saw a shirt made by Sig. Siviglia. I friend was wearing one the other day.

Really beautiful work. I loved the sleeve set. a bit smaller then average. Really clean work. My only complaint was that the monogram was too small. the letters were too hard to read.

I have altered shirts by lengthing at the cuffs or have removed pockets.  Stich marks will be left. I would never give a shirt like that to a customer. One washing will make the stitch holes disapear. Still no excuse to deliver such shirts to a customer unless you plan to never see this customer again.

Ernest. Is there a reason you are trying to piss everyone off?
