Does that figure include the truckload of No Doze distributed at the Flatulence show to keep everyone awake?

Re: The monetary value of AAAC

http://www.gaijinpot.com/bb/index.php is: $105,070

Gaijinpot is the most troll-infested site I know. I've never seen any site where so many flame wars have gone on for so long. Dnscoop's estimates certainly don't take into account the relative worth of the content generated by all the traffic. That's far too subjective for a mere algorithm.

Re: The monetary value of AAAC

l'm sure the seedy `Playboy' mention would have bumped up the old mans figures too.

Re: The monetary value of AAAC

I'm highly skeptical.  The therapy bills alone would bankrupt anyone who bought the place.

Re: The monetary value of AAAC

You know , I wonder. The common law rule is that the copyright owner is the author. If anyone is not banned would they please demand the erasure of my posts. The value lies in what is written. and from the last I saw, when I  looked in from a non banned computer: the posts were pretty much worthless. But now that I give it a thought: if I am banned, I want my copyrighted posts ereased. could someone kindly convey that request?

Re: The monetary value of AAAC

well, I don't know. I'm not a copyright lawyer. But I do know that the copyright holder (ie the right to republish) always belonged to the author of the letter. The owner of the physical letter could always sell it, but they couldn't publish it until the copyright expires. I'm not sure what the internet law is. But my theory is if you ban me you should ban all of my posts. Where is that Coolidge kid: write a certified letter. threaten bad stuff. see what happens.
Back in my younger days, when I would occasionally do a collection, I used to quote a letter that supposedly came from a Saville Row firm. I think I first read it in Playboy:
Dear sir: we are informed you owe such and such. Unless you render payment immediately we will take steps that, quite literally, will astound you.
PS. you can't write those letters anymore and I find it hard to believe that Saville Row, according to Douglas Fairbanks' autobiography, that considered accounts to be current if you paid the bills in 6 months, would write such a letter. but who knows.

to be blunt, I think we should be all over these clowns like a cheap suit. OK I stole the phrase from my first boss, but I think it appropriate for this place.
