I like the patina on that last monk. It reminds me of the John Lobb "Museum calf" finish, which I find rather fetching.

What's the best way to get rid of these patinas and make them all black? Some of these are really nice shoes and deserve to be made in a proper colour.

Not a lot of people know this, but if you have a watch with Tritium luminous dials and hands, they will over a decade or more as the radioactivity decays experience a lovely patina effect.

I used to have to do this at work with leather for interiors/furniture, under the guidance of the guy that actually knew what he was doing, it's quite fun, and relatively easy to do at home, I don't believe any or many of the dyes were toxic, I was going to buy some rawhide belts and give it a go at home.
Arrives unpressed and minimally packaged.
