Only ever wore boat shoes without socks (excepting sandals), and haven't had a pair of those since the '80s ...

I wear sneakers without socks when I am working out, which I plan to do in a very few minutes. I'll wear boat shoes and sandals without socks. With all other footgear, I regard the practice as somewhere between affectation and abomination.

^^^FNB and Shooey, I don't know what city it is but I deliberately posted the picture with girls, vs another one that I had without, because, despite the lack of socks, the girls are nice.

I had a friend who came to stay for a week recently. Although a nice person, like most women she wears shoes without socks. One pair she put outside because she said they stank too much. I didn't believe her but, concerned about the leather cracking, and never having been polished, I hit them with leather conditioner and then a cream polish. Believe me theydid stink. And stayed outside. To think all those nice women are getting around in stinky shoes. Eeew peeewhoo!!! Take a whiff take a wiff, take a whiff on me.
