I consider that Paulo Coelho has also figured out that there is a deep need in many people for a shallow and George Lucas Star Wars level of spiritual/New Age mumbo-jumbo need that he is doing quite nicely out of, thank you. In many cases, these cults are reinforced by Dungeons & Dragons level of spiritual attainment that of course, us being mere mortals are still many lives away of attaining the status of the master. Of course, pure liquid MDMA will take you to that gooey, sea of tranquility and spiritual oneness with all your disciples and acolytes that it will these sixth and ninth level souls a couple of hundred lives to achieve.
