You should start your own thread and get FNB to block comments. Start another thread for comments and discussion. That way you avoid the good basic stuff getting swamped by bullshit and trolling.

Yeah I'll see what FNB thinks. I can help with colour more than anything. Patterns and styles, things like that, come down to taste.

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

"Hey, you guys don't mind if I change in here with you, do you?  Had a brutal meeting in the city this morning and had to keep the tie on for lunch...can't wait to get into my chinos again...what?  Really, am I sweating that much?  Stuffy in here...need a hand with those pads? Your stuff is so different from when I played.  Still at my college playing weight, give or take a pound or two.--would you mind if I tried on your shorts?  Hey, ok, no problem, just wanted to feel how light the new stuff is...you guys into stretching? Back in the day, 20 minutes stretching before we put any equipment on, mandatory. Hey guys, I brought along some old miracle ointment we used to use.  Burns like the beejeezus at first...let me know if you get any cramps or knots in your thighs. I know the trainers get busy during the game but I'll leave the bottle in here, show you how it works if you need it...love to take a few pictures of you guys, once everyone gets dressed if I can figure out how this new camera works...Oh Jesus, the damn thing went off! What did I press?  Hope to get some good stuff later...

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

If it is the best-designed folding bike in the market I wonder why it is set up to let the rider place his foot on or through the brake and shifter cables.

In that thread there's one guy with a Franz Boas avatar who keeps suggesting hilariously hipster things, including an artisanal lightbulb (as on Portlandia) and a waxed cotton lunch bag. I wonder if it's satire. The rest of the thread is too sad to be satire.

The Brompton is indeed the best designed folding bike for commuting.....but what they don't tell you, is after you've raced across town and folded the bike several times as you board trams, buses and trains, you will arrive at your work place sweating like a rapist in a police identity line-up.

FNB said:

I'm embarrassed to admit I don't know who said it, and even more to be too lazy to Google it. Is it Marcus Aurelius? Sounds like something he would have said.
Anyways, will surely entertain the thought.
