Cultural fun and games at the SF:
Someone posted a picture of himself with concert pianist Martha Argerich, who is not a young woman. Local Man About Town and Crusty boot licker Patrick Booth, who probably hasn't spent a lot of his time on the internet looking at pictures of girls over 17, asks charmingly, "Who is that old bag?"
Meanwhile, at Andy's, where age and experience are still respected, a lonely voice cries out from the frozen wilds of the Northern Tier: "Where do you find deals?" Atterberg, hailing from the Ithaca NY area, home to about 7,500,000,000,000 college kids, has "no access to stores":

Do your feet a favour and stop wearing them.
Gil is obviously a hater, we should ban him, lol
Seriously though, Gil unfortunately missed out on the early days of the men's clothing internet message boards (er, fora) which, despite what Russell Street has sometimes asserted, really did offer useful and productive discussions and information. The great "accidental" purge of old threads from Andyland ensured that most of that was lost, esp since Slime Forum never enjoyed the same level of membership. Some of us are still waiting for HOrace to write his history of the fora, but alas such a work would now be meaningless except to a small band of old timers.
It's because they are sad fuckers, that would make an arms race out of anything. I think men's trad clothing was a big void for these young guys to move into, where their immediate peers know/knew nothing. The problem was they ran up against you guys who have a lifetime of knowledge, so they basically turned the game into something of their own to avoid facing up to what they don't know. Basically what I did with Ivy. Difference was I know I don't know a lot but I never said I did, but I won't take style advice from people that I don't like the style of, if that makes sense.
