lf l was a politician and had lots of people in my electorate complaining, l would have an allowance set aside for buying these people lots of alcohol and a t.v set so these pests are kept out of the way. smile + give them an incentive  to drink from the public water supply and buy canned and GM food from the supermarkets and pay for their newspapers along with their medications, + pay for further schooling to really complete the job. wink

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

I believe Manton also pursued a cuisine metaphor in his famous denunciation of Cruiser, though he did so in about 6,000 words and with an attitude of wounded sanctity. Our own Captainpreppy got into quite a fight with Cruiser at one point as well; for such a bland man he had a remarkable talent for inciting forums drama.

I never particularly minded Cruiser or his bizarre proletarian pretentions. He seemed more like the other Andymen than unlike them.

He has a famous and extremely entertaining denunciation of Cruiser, starting on this page:
http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?88581-why-do-a-3-button-roll-to-2-as-opposed-to-doing-a-2-button-suit/page2
"The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."
