Do youse blokes have to buy off the UK site?
The USA site has shorts at $45usa but your UK site has them at equivalent to $62usa.

Isn't it something to do with Import duty? If I buy something made and sold in the EU I can get it cheaper here (Norway) that the country of origin. I have to pay duty on it though. But not always, with luck.
This thread has just reminded me of something to do: I bought a J.Press madras shirt from ebay, the seller advised that although it was tagged an xxl, was in fact only 16" neck. On arrival in turned out to be a massive 17.5/18" neck with body to suit.....it's now in the washer on a short 90 degree wash. Let's see what happens after that.
I would've had it hep, sounds my size. Well maybe not now!
Got two NoS bleeding madras size L for sale. Will stick them in the FS when appropriate
Google images. The bottom one are Gitmans from what looks like their factory.
Vintage Madras comes in & out of the vintage room at JS & I also have some to off load via there...
Landsend is also a great source for new. Probably the best for the price / quality ratio in new Madras shirts ?

How do we like our Madras here ?
Murky or crisp & vibrant ? Both belong.

Loving your blog at the mo Ox, nice little read.
I am starting to feel tempted by a madras jacket but I not sure how they fit into the context of the UK.
These are no good to Oliver... so some real old, but near new condition Madras beach shorts. Look to about a 34.

Been trying to find one for a while, still empty handed though. Most searches come up too big, so at the minute, just being patient. Have a lovely gingham sport coat and a sweet unlined stripe, but just need to add a madras to the list, something that can look a little more 'worn'.
