The Downliners Sect - White Caterpiller.
Unlike their earlier R&B/British Beat Boom stuff this was recorded by the band when they took up residency on the continent just before their demise.

Simon, I used to see the Yardbirds when they had a friday-night residency at the Marquee in 1964. The Five Live Yardbirds LP was recorded at two of those gigs....I did go to the Crawdaddy a couple of times never saw the Yardbirds there, but I did them at the Fender Club at Kenton with Jeff Beck.....
Years later (1978?) when Charly got the rights to reissue the 5LY LP they didn't have access to the original artwork. I was working in 'Rock On' an oldies record shop in Camden at the time and the guy from Charly (Joop Visser?) came into the shop looking for an original LP to copy the artwork. We didn't have a copy in stock at the time so I lent him mine.
