Based on those I either met or seen pictures of I offer my own personal top 10 Ivy-oriented dressers :
1. John Simons - always no.1
2. John Lally - eclectic, bizarre but brilliant
3. Jason Jules - handsome trendy with Ivy roots
4. Zach de Luca - sharp, informed, playful and serious all at once
5. Guy Barley - 1962 come alive
6. Ian Strachan - masculine Ivy with a French twist
7. JP Gaul - Cary Grant meets Alexei Sayle on Via Condotti
8. Jeffrey Garet - soft-spoken Ivy in soft-voiced plaids and the best glasses ever
9. David Rosen - a 60s original with great taste and a Savile Row inflection
10. Harpo - alarmingly sharp. No 5's soul mate.
There are many many more sharp dudes out there I've missed off. These 10 spring to mind quite quickly.
I didn't get why Ian has this French twist, John...
Isn't it rather pure Ivy, maybe with a bit of classic British?
I also love the style of Graham Marsh - You can tell he just lives the style.
I increasingly look like an unmade bed....
It's a competition! With a top 10!
This approach strikes me as a bit "mod"-ish. "Faces." Fight!
One of the things I love about this place is how we treat 'Faces' with respect but not reverence. We can hold them up to scrutiny, dissect their style and (hopefully) nobodies going to get bent out of shape if we don't LOVE it all. I don't go in for all this Totemic 'Face' stuff. Never have. I have no problem with naming who I think is really inspiring here and no doubt my choices would be very similar to all of yours but why a Top Ten list? Better off left to Heat magazine or Japanese fangirls if you ask me.
That inspires me to do a list of the - to me - best dressed Ivyists here on "Talk Ivy"... I'm gonna list only the ones that are posting pics from time to time (or that posted pics in the past). That said, I like lists...
1. 1966 - the best casual Ivy style I could think of, great use of suede shoes together with Jeans, great jackets and sweaters, great bikes
2. Moose MacIennan - very updated Ivy, I especially like how he mixes stuff that others wouldn't wear and it still looks spot on "Ivy"
3. Oo Bop Sh'Bam - the most "preppy" here, without being a Prepster - great use of colours
4. Get Smart - the "Wild One"
5. Heikki K. - fantastic conservative Ivy look without being a conservative
6. Simon - still a good bit of "Mod", but VERY tasteful and a good mix of Ivy and Mod - I like his style although he hates outdoor sports and Gore Tex
7. Daniele - classic Italian continental Ivy look with also a good bit of "Mod" (more than Simon - I still like Mod stuff, but I prefer it with an Ivy input)
8. Zach de Luca - always like his photos
9. Patrick - conservative Ivy with a hint of "Brit", he really lives it and wears great colours sometimes
10. Brownshoe - slightly preppy, good use of 60s influence
P.S.: this is only a "top ten" list... The ones that inspire me are MANY more...

Danielle I consider more Mod than Ivy, he wouldn't be on my Ivy list, but he would be near the top on my Mod list.
Thanks Leer, please don't ever do that again. I'm just a chap bugged by his particular tastes, loafing around with holes in his knitwear.
That said, my style kills everyone on my block. Bring it on!
Yeah. As far as I'm aware that was when you first said 'Prepster'. I don't know if you made it up but I'm noticing it's been said a few time now. I like it. It really sums up that new preppie/hipster look.
In no particular order:
Me
JP Gall
Patrick Sullivan
Moose McLellan
Christian Chens
Harpo
Guy Barley
Lloyd Johnson
Zac DeLuca
Jeff Garet
Oliver
Some I've met in person and been struck by their stylish deportment. Others I've only seen in photos. The 'photo only' choices have made where the subject's sartorial performance has been consistent in picture postings.
Thanks for the kudos, Leer.
If I had to pick one area where guys consistently flounder, it would be color. Seems the temptation is to go all drab, all the time or indulge in a riot of color.
I always thought Brownshoe was the best. He has completely disappeared from the online clothing weirdo scene.
