I don't remember seeing any Gothic Lolitas. Just a lot of preppy crap, Anime drawings of schoolgirls in short skirts and one post about socks that bordered on fetishism.

Oh dear, I've just come across the photos of him in his girly and anime inspired bedroom, reminds me of my eldest daughters, except hers is more messy and she has wider reading taste. I find it refreshingly dumbed down to fuck, that an English teacher chooses Anime cartoon books for his own private library.

Where does travelling the world for bespoke shoes fit into that shooey?

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

I think someone who spends half their time venting about other people's spiritual short comings is playing a very self serving game even if it is under the pretence of their own spiritual achievements. I'm sick of your bullshit really shooey it is just as self serving as buying things such a concentrated view of your habits and belief is still ultimately quite a selfish way of going about things

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

He's no sucka. He's just a live wire. He's a sharp guy.

In time his third eye will be opened and at that point he will realise that part of its function is to dish out secret winks to those in the know.

I don't go too deep into the spiritual thing but one thing I do know is that the Guru's and the Yogi's and the higher beings (or those who consider themselves such) all have a playfulness and a side of themselves entirely devoted to rib jabbing and snark. It's all very healthy if you can see it for what it is. Keep up the good work Shooman. Keep jabbing those ribs.

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

Some top Yogi's are supposed to be able to live without food, water and air (like the yogi who lived in a coffin for 9 months). These yogi's are supposed to live only on love, l kid you not...no bullshit. l'd like to live with no food or water, but l don't think i'd want to live without breathing air...gotta have some addictions. But then again, even breathing air causes countless beings (bacteria) to die, so even breatharians aren't true vegans...so maybe surviving without air wouldn't be such a bad thing. wink

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

I'm just saying if someone holds all of this spirituality in such high regard why is he succumbing to actions that he says in another breath are lowly, and how come enlightenment means holding everyone else in contempt. That's not really my understanding of selflessness.
