Poor buggers.
I would like to know who their tailors are so as to avoid them like five dollar hooker.
Mkmm, seems a good sort, never seems to let things rattle him when others pile in. Very mellow.
I suspect here though, that he has fallen foul of his florid writing style and raised the expectations of his audience. Mafoofan fell into a similar trap with regards to Rubinacci and suffered a similar fate.
The thing is there is no consensus as to what great tailoring is or should look like. Things like styling are subjective and based on tastes, cultural cues &c. You could argue that there are some objective measures like fit for example. It’s difficult. I see this as virtue though not a vice.
Farming out does not equal disaster. Vastly more complex products than tailoring are manufactured by outsourcing work.

^forum post of the year.
the poppy pattern by marimekko was a nice idea when designed for curtain / tablecloth use in the early half of the sixties.. however, bloody marimekko has gone all burberry and overdone the pattern just about everywhere. wouldn't have believed to see it on andover shop trews though.
Wankers wear camo when not in the military and mixed with civvies. This guy no doubt got a rave review from the Satorialist.
