Indeed, Mohammed Shafiq is one of the few voices that is addressing the issue head-on and for this he has been rewarded with death threats. His position is not supported by the Police.

^I did try and tell you what my colleagues in Perth were saying about the costs of living there. They also said that when they first arrived in the mid-90s, it was a working man's paradise: much higher quality and larger property than the UK for very reasonable prices, other costs of living half the price than the UK and they were being paid half again on top of a UK salary. Happy days.
Certainly, anyone thinking of moving there now has missed the boat and if you see the boat, its already too late. What you don't want is a situation like the UK where the housing market ponzi scheme, is the economy and social cohesion is challenged as successive generations are locked-out of mainstream society and the wealth that their parents and grandparents enjoyed.
Yes you did try and tell me and I didn't accept all of what you said. That is all i can remember father and i am very sorry for all my sins. I await the penance.
Actually I don't accept all of the economist stuff either.
Australia was cheap enough in 2000. Now it is off the holiday list. New Zealand too.
Never did Perth, Melbourne, or Adelaide
