The recent addition of Ernest to this board is having a detrimental effect upon my experience. The immense knowledge that was attracting me is being clouded with unnecessary agitation.
Which is not ernest? The one posting on your forum here? Or from the other boards?
He was banned there, as were many other people. But this ernest here, is very much like the one from the past. And he is not very collegial. But I do not really wish to make arguement about this

You are absolutely right about the name.
It's one thing for the man to not be a cutter or patternmaker but he ought to know more than he does - or lets on - about the craft.
My H&H bespoke shirts are single-needle and I do not believe that I have done anything to qualify for special treatment.
Agreed - so far as I can tell the RTW are in the Lewin-Pink range.
I find myself wanting to like Jermyn Street but with the weakness of the dollar and how poorly they do relative to their NY and Parisian counterparts, it's hard to...
I believe that I will give H&K a try but if Atam can deliver as good of a shirt as he has promised, it will be hard to justify $300 for a 100's H&K.
While Charvet is more expensive than H&K, I'd say that 175GBP and 360EUR are in the same range and that they blow H&K out of the water.
I am very surprised to hear that. The RTW are obviously excellent I will be interested to see how my MTM turns out.
I really can't believe that they even stock plastic buttons.
Since their buttons are hand-sewn and shanked, they will not be really affixed securely until the shirt has been washed and dried and the threads have shrunken sufficiently.
