Interesting, I still think he should have supplied the detective film with vintage clothing. A bad career move, he won't make that mistake when he's got a family and mortgage on the go.

Vintage clothing doesn't last forever and having them destroyed, their use in popular television and movies keeps vintage aesthetics in the cultural consciousness and spurs demand for new products and craftsmen to make them.
