Ernest, as I have understood matters, you are quite a young man and either have been or were unemployed for quite a long time. Isn't a wardrobe that includes two dozen business suits, around 90 ties and 38 pairs of cufflinks indicative of some rather mixed up priorities under those circumstances? I mean, I'm 64, have been steadily employed for many years, and I feel guilty sometimes about overindulging and excessive expenditure on clothes, and my wardrobe comes nowhere near those numbers. I will concede that if you have acquired most of these suits and ties for next to nothing by shopping in thrift/second-hand stores, then that puts matters in a somewhat different perspective.
I can offer you a ride in my Fiat although who knows?
The Japanese are the ones who take the cake for their fetishistic devotion to their specific areas of collecting. I read one woman bought so much Jean Paul Gaultier, the equivalent sum would have bought a single house in Tokyo, which as one may know is a huge sum of money considering a cracker-jack sized apartment there is about $1,000,000.

Do I understand correctly what I have gathered from ernest? If I am following him the young man has had no job for three years but seven watches?
It is not my intention to be rude young man but you really should add
Employment
IO 0
SO 1
Not to be rude but when did young men decide that it was acceptable for a man to remain jobless for three years? Pardon my hubris but I find that troubling.
Ronny, perhaps we could do without the old man with bolts in his head avatar
Just poking my nose in for a second.
Just generally, priorities are not a proper topic. This is a clothes forum. It is not a political forum, it is not one to judge someone's lifestyle, nor is it a ranking of priorities.
I am sure you all meant your inquiries in the most harmless, nurturing manner possible. However, I have to ask everyone to simply move along and forget about collecting on an answer about anyone's job status or choices in life.
Thanks,
FNB
Your priority should definitely be shoes.
Seven pairs is not enough for the future and you have so many quality suits.

Keep searching Ernest. l've found my perfect fitting shoes in Santoni so l am happy and will continue to buy more. l prefer the fit of ltalian shoes over English shoes. l'm gunna give Vass a try soon (last night l had the best Vass dreams out...l dreamed l was a peasant and was wearing The Budapesta ).

Since you are in Paris, there are a lot of choices: John Lobb, Corthay, Altan Bottier, Massaro, etc.
