Sabre London jacket

I picked up a plaid 100 percent wool blazer at a thrift shop in as new condition made by Sabre London for the princely sum of $14.  Made of pure new wool, with the wool trademark marked made in England, with the suit also marked Made in England.  Can anyone tell me about the jacket's manufacturer please.  I also picked up a silk Gant striped tie for the outrageous price of one dollar.  I am happy with that.

You would wear a Gant tie?

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

Re: Sabre London jacket

Sabre (if the same) had a shop on Longacre, Coven Garden, & was also to be found in certain department stores. I used to wear their knitwear a lot in the '80s.

Great quality, style & value then.

Re: Sabre London jacket

A striped woven silk striped tie for one dollar is not to be sneezed at regardless who made it.  It means one of the Chinese silk tie specials ($100 for 100) goes to the thrift shop.
