Does anyone know what genius decided to turn Mark Cavendish into a domestique? The story about him saving himself for the Olympics is a transparent falsehood.

I assume that Brailsford has the final say on Team Sky's strategy. I was appalled that Cavendish was not given the support of the "Skytrain" to challenge for yesterday's stage in Pau. If he does not win the Olympic road race, Cav will concentrate on defending his world championship in Holland. It should be a bunch sprint finish like Copenhagen.
