In response to people being jealous of Manton, I don't think it is jealously just suprise that Manton would wear a suit such as the two button, three piece peaked lapel number from FS. Would you not agree that it just does not look good? Everything is too high and out of balance to my eye.

I think that another reason that Manton's clothes don't impress is that they show an immense lack of style. They all seem like experiments in tailoring technique rather than pieces of clothing meant to be worn and enjoyed, and as such never appear relaxed no matter how much emphasis he places on softness and soft tailoring. The suit posted above look like a Men's Wearhouse job in that picture, but I don't know if it is one. I am not sure of the DB that Edmoral mentioned me posting, but he might be able to repost it if he remembers.
