The A List and the B List. Let's name them!
Well, as much as this will hurt the FNB community, Manton would sit at the head of the "A" table. Sorry.
I'd be inclined to say that the original members of this community would sit at the other A table, possibly trading hard glances with the table hosting Manton, Andy, et al.

1 poster on SF, named Arnold, I think was from, TV.
i'm dancing on the table in my socks
My attitude has always been, this is what I like this is what I'm interested in. If you like what I like great. And conversely, I keep my mind open to someone else doing something I like. You can discuss anything I write about with me, you can discuss any opinion of yours you want with me. I only say that this is what I do and why I do it but I would never say you had to do it. This is my style, this is how I arrived at it, now develop your own. All types of clothes and style are welcome here.
I see now that someone else has rebranded themselves from style strongman to "This is what I like, take it or leave it". Even though inconsistency and insincerity leave the speaker rather hollow looking, imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery.
I will never be a celebrity in this space, and I think that's a very good thing.
I just give my impressions and observations and researches. It something strikes me as wrong, I tell you why, even if the explanation is that there seems to be no explanation. But I have no interest in telling people what to do. I wish that some people would get that. Well, we are entering a brave new world in terms of enrolling and empowering everyone to think about style. The reward for me will be to discover innovations and new products i hadnt heard about. But we have no kings, gods or emperors here, just free, creative men having a good time.
there can be no doubt that Manton is the Paris Hilton of this type of website.
I am disappointed nobody has actually named an A list and a B list yet. I'd be curious who ended up where.
I guess that A-list would be the people that actually are listened to. My guess would be:
Alden, Manton, AKabbaz, Will, MEdwards, T4Phage, JCusey, FilmNoirBuff, RSS.
The B-list would be the semi-famous who get on well with the above.
Marc and FNB are definitely A-listers. but first maybe we ought to define A-lister.
Perhaps someone with broad name-recognition across LL, AAAC, FNB, and SF? Someone who has either been 1) a moderator or 2) banned or 3) published?
Someone worthy of PM gossip, surely?
It would seem that if you aren't worthy of PM gossip and public satire, you can only be B-list at most.
Maybe we can steal from 'You might be a Redneck if...' and do a 'You might be a men's clothing message board celebrity if...'?
Fun times!
