I'm always safe from this as I wear Ivy League - A style either undetectable in England or associated with creatives and tough nuts - And you can never be sure which is which !

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

Just when you think you've hit the bottom of the inanity barrel:
http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?118780-Broken-Shoe-Trees
iGents argue, with venom and with passion, over the relative merits of factory second shoe trees. Respondents express a fear of cosmetic defects in shoe trees - knots, "bad grain," and other flaws disgust them. "I have found it possible to select good pairs of trees, but it requires inspecting all of the stock in my size, and on some occasions, even then, there are none to be found," writes one. Apparently these men regularly shop for shoe trees. The OP even reports breaking a shoe tree, I assume by using it to pound pegs into a crude coffin for a loved one who has starved to death because the family breadwinner spends all his time and money at the Nordstrom Rack buying and then attempting to return irregular shoe care accessories.

Mount and spray, or spray then mount?
