Cape Canaveral became Cape Kennedy,
Then they switched it back to Cape Canaveral again.
What was the story behind that? It is a very big snub whatever the reasoning .

I'm feeling so inspired by it I'm about to go out in grey Sta-prest, mock turtleneck, MA1 green flight jacket, AO original pilot sunglasses and Clarks DB's!

I was at the Johnson Space Center in Houston two weeks back, and what struck me was how mundane and humdrum the Houston misson control building are. It looks just like a large office park anywhere in the world. In saying that, the Saturn V rocket was worth seeing up close. But there lacked space age glamour, which is probably right as you go to the moon with the hard sciences.
