I'm sure the editor of the LA Times is kicking himself for "killing" (journalist slang for "choosing not to publish") Chenner's red-hot article on Big Tony and the Malindae.

Sublime names for sublime "custom-folded" pocket squares - the Concierge, the Inertia, the Elixir, the Exude, the Lithium. Someone should alert Andy.

Re: Inane Post of the Day 2012: The End of the Sartorial World Edition

I once failed a job interview because I was wearing perf cap toes instead of plain cap toes (at least I am reasonably sure that was the reason). I explained to the interviewer, who had been with his corporation for over twenty years, that my plain cap toes and court shoes were being re-soled, and that the invitation to the interview took me as a bit of a surprise, which was also why I was wearing my stroller instead of a more quotidian business suit. He became remarkably hostile and resistant to this explanation, and he asked me to collect my sword-cane, my vintage fox fur muff, and my topper, and to leave. I coldly informed him that I would write to the Quiznos corporation and urge them to fire him for his excessive punctillio. So Buffy, sometimes even in the United States formality can be important.
