One other important modification Bruce made was that the last is slightly bent the opposite way to most lasts in that the last will point slightly outwards instead of inwards. My feet are alittle unusal and it is hard to find a shoe which fits well because my feet point outwards and my small toes are more prone to get rubbed, so yes, it is very very difficult to find rtw that will work for my feet...most rtw shoes l try on never work for my feet, so the ones that l do have are like gold to me. lt also doesn't help that l have narrow ankles and pronation and have one foot bigger than the other. l can get an o.k fit with rtw, but l always wish things were better, l want perfection.

Bruce's other last fit me really well (my best fitting shoe), so l reckon this one will be a beauty too.
