Invented Knowledge: False History, Fake Science and Pseudo-religions,  Ronald H. Fritze.

A very convincing debunking of Zecharia Sitchin and his claims that the Anunnaki created human beings as slave labor by manipulating Homo Erectus DNA.

Despite this thoroughly obnoxious review from The Guardian, I will be reading Andy Kershaw's autobiography on account of his sterling services to promoting music from around the world, and his dispatches from war zones and other shit holes that no professional journalist had the guts to. He also dared to speak the truth about St. John Peel:

Kershaw used to live in the same road as my pal in Crouch End who said he was OK. I have no time for World Music myself though.

Picked up 'Jazz' by Mervyn Cooke Thames & Hudson world of art series, 1998.  Dated but I bought it new for six dollars so no complaints.
