The Italian Dandy

This montage celebrates the Italian Dandy, that distinctive Italian flair.  After all, it was the Italians who perfected the art of the promenade.  Bella figura and sprezzatura - being the best you can in all you say and do and having a certain nonchalance in doing so.  No-one else can carry it off like the Italian male!

Re: The Italian Dandy

Thought there might be some interesting historical footage but its just the same old tired Pitti-tats.

But a great soundtrack - you have to admit.

Re: The Italian Dandy

Neapolitan Tailoring vs Savile Row? My question to you all is which do you prefer and why?

For me I love the classic formal cut of Savile Row with is military history but there is something about the Italian loose tailoring of Naples that expresses so much. I love them both and see a place for each.

Re: The Italian Dandy

Keeping with the Italian trope, the video brings to mind the good, the bad, and the ugly. The music was no Morricone. Sorry, would have loved to have loved it but felt more like the American interpretation of an Italian dessert. Simply could not imagine an Italian putting that up as his promenade's cri de coeur.
