45% Acrylic, 40% Cotton, 15% Polyester... I'd advise against it at any price.
Avoid wearing it on bonfire night, there are some fruit of the loom raglans going on ebay for a fiver I think 50/50 poly/cotton, I was going to get a couple, just for casual. As long as they fit right, and you like the cut, why not, bespoke sweatshirts is an odd fetish in my book, whilst poly/cotton completely floats my boat.
Some V cleats....

I have no problem with a non-100% cotton sweatshirt, maybe 80/20 is better but still no proble. The real point is that it's really not that common to find sweatshirts with a deep V-neck (like that Paul Newman picture) like those.

Ha!
They are straights, I hate straights, just for the very reasons you mentioned, makes me feel all Texan, whilst I want to be Californian. (it's Levis for Filson, I gots it round the wrong way)
the whole range is here. Dress like a trucker, impress your friends and girls at the wheatgrass/vegan cafe in Portland, by looking like you drive fuel out of Alaska for a living.

Love this work wear gear, what the 'eff is "Tin Cloth". Something masculine, rugged and woven out of steel girders no doubt.

You're far too generous, George. Thank you.
I was watching a pair of vintage Levis cords up until yesterday, which had no bids yet, and was set to end tonight. But the seller ended the auction with a note that said 'Item is no longer available'. So frustrating!
I immediately went on a hunt and found some other Levis for a tenner in the same twill. 12" rise 27" inside leg (perfect for stumpy me) and bottoms just under 7". I reckon they have been tapered to that as they were taken up from a 30" inseam. All's well that ends in me buying more trousers. I think I just don't like being left out.
