Re: Groovin' at the I Spot -

I've seen Germans wear bow-ties, very few Brits. In fact, the last one I knew, was a colleague of the missus who went home to the UK for a weekend and never returned. His wife rang the office up and asked them to dispose of his personal belongings in the bin.

Everyone thought he had died, on further investigation, it was found he had been arrested for fraud and had been depositing funds from his previous employer into his bank account. He was in his early 60s and got a couple of years in the slammer.

A true story is that.

In talks at the moment for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uT8huewp5E

Only the promo's exist after most of the band members died in an accident while on a tour buss. The promo's had already been given to radio stations and the record was tipped to be massive on the R&B chart. Following the crash the record company destroyed all the issue copies. Tragic story surrounding a really great record of group soul with a smudge of boogaloo. Right on!

Wow, there's some pretty weird shit being listened to! Scored a  Blues Palmer today, been on the wants list for a while, doesn't turn up much.
Great beat and arrangement, organ and guitar is fabulous, vocal is the nuts. Hardcore jazzy soul/blues sound. Can't wait to blast it out at my club night which must be best bad ass mod music club in the world without any mods in it.
