Old World Indian Style
This compilation creates the atmosphere of an old world faded glamour of India. I love the beautiful palette across dress, interiors and the natural landscape - the vibrancy, the exoticism and the subtle changes of hue as the sun rises and falls. I have become bored of the current trend of greige which coats everything in drabness. For me, the rich colours and textures of India enrich the soul.

There is a real interest in India and Orientalism in the West - the only problem is that India is losing its cultural heritage and all that makes it interesting because of her pursuit of Western philosophy i.e. Capitalism.
India is becoming a global force and in the process losing its local colour and beauty. That is why I wanted to capture in my video those things of the old world India that still exist before they are lost.
