Atam, what are your opinions on Borrelli shirts? l hear the quality has gone down hill. How do they compare to other RTW shirts?

I know Atam very well. I doubt he has time to look at every RTW shirt out there and make comparrisons.
paris offers a laundry service for his customers. I would assume that they must show up, but I doubt that he could start comparing new and old Borelli shirts. Why would he even care. We all look at other shirts for ideas, but the shirt Paris makeks is very different then the shirt Borelli makes, in terms of pattern and construction.
Atam,I hope that you do not mind me speaking for you.

Mr. Cruz Diez the best detergent you can use for both color and white shirts would be ERA brand.

Atam,
Do you have any fabrics, made with the color of the kirmiz?

I am sorry to say no we do not have shirt fabric with that color Kirmiz. The mills in Italy and England do not use that because it will bleed if not washed in cold water .
Yes you are right . In the rugs the color just pops out and I do agree the color would be perfect for a shirt .
Would you get a custom made madras shirt?
Custom made Button Downs sounds extravagant.

Sorry to take so long to answer your question yes we do hand sew buttons and button holes. And the cost is $50 to hand sew the buttons and $100 to hand sew button holes. But to tell you the truth if the shirt maker is useing a top of the line thread you will have a perfect button hole .
The merits of hand-sewn elements in shirts is largely illusory. My shirtmaker in Rome has experimented with handsewn buttonholes and machine-made, and has concluded that, in the end, machine-made buttonholes are superior, both in terms of aesthetics and durability.
Atam,
Firstly, Paris Shirtmakers make wonderful custom shirts.
However, I think is bad business practice to offer hand sewn button holes for $100. per shirt. This extras charge is way out of line in relation to the cost of a shirt. IMO it is OK not to offer this service; but if you do, a much more reasonable price would be appropriate.
