I wear UK6.5/US 7.5 in a narrow fitting in loafers and sneakers (sometimes a UK7 in sneakers) and usually a UK 6 in shoes. basically I either go for a 39 or 40 in european sizes. I think the vast majority of the Yuma they make now go to Japan, so chances are smaller sizes are pretty common.

I'd take a punt on the Yumas but they aren't my taste either.

MarkCoyle takes the same size as me I think. Perhaps someone should mail him.... if anyone has his email. I'm not sure he checks the forum that often.

Well i never, what looks to be a genuine 60s makers
16- 35/36 in Red Micro check six button placket and label just states All cotton.
Unfortunately no where near my size (as usual)

Does anyone know when Makers went from 6 buttons to 7?
and what label corresponds to this happening?

I have asked your 1st question here and elsewhere, to no avail.

Afaik the label stayed the same for a while. The ones with lots of writing on are all post the change.

Btw, my 2 most recent Makers shirts had a nasty surprise: smaller collars. Which ruined the roll and effectively made them useless to me, although I am tempted to keep them in case of desperation in future years.

(I used to go out with a girl who had a similar attitude towards me.)
