I have a theory that all fashion forums eventually become Andys (with the possible exception of this one as we lack a communal tie box.) SF is now just Andys with fewer Canadians and more testosterone. Certainly a step down, however gradual it has been. And as witnessed by recent posts at the hat site, they are actually moving up a bit to achieve their Andyness, with posts on Edward Green shoes, MTM Asian suits, proper wedding attire, and this post which includes several Andy indicators including Cordovan shoes that may or may not be cordovan, Shell, "GQ", bad changing shoe color advice, and the color "eggplant":
